From vehicle needs to a shortlist
A shopper can describe needs in ordinary language and narrow suitable vehicles by factors such as transmission, budget or intended use. Keep comparisons tied to the available inventory and documented vehicle information.
Preserve the shopper’s interests when moving to sales so the next team has useful context. A shortlist or contact request is not a completed sale.
From service intent to a follow-up request
A service flow can clarify the vehicle and service area, collect permitted contact information and summarize the request for confirmation. Agree any verification steps with the merchant before launch.
Where the deployment supports CRM delivery, record whether the request reached the follow-up system. An adviser can then discuss availability and scheduling. A service request is not a confirmed appointment.
Separate sales and aftersales outcomes
A vehicle inquiry should carry the shopper’s interests to the sales team. A service request should reach the appropriate aftersales team. Validate permissions, CRM field mapping and service-routing scope for each deployment.
Keep product guidance, contact requests, test-drive requests and service requests distinct in reporting. Agree supported actions and required systems before launch.
Review completed and unfinished journeys
Review delivery success, information-only closure, shopper noncompletion and system errors separately. These stages help identify where a request needs attention.
Connect the conversation to downstream records: requested contact, CRM delivery, appointment confirmation and completed transaction. Do not report an earlier stage as a later commercial outcome.
Measure outcomes separately from the conversation
Review conversations with and without recorded purchases to find recurring uncertainties and missing product information. A purchase associated with a conversation does not establish that a particular answer caused the sale.
To evaluate additional revenue, use a controlled pilot with stable visitor assignments and an agreed metric across the full eligible audience. Keep attributed purchases, operational handoffs and incremental revenue separate.
Plan your revenue measurementEnterprise experience, adapted to your store
Gengage brings its enterprise retail experience to stores of different sizes. Begin self-service setup with your public store URL; no custom product feed or backend API connection is required to begin. Validate product information, installation and supported capabilities for your store before launch.
Enterprise is quote-led: talk to our team about scope, integration, security and data handling for a tailored quote. The $1 USD first month offer applies to all self-service plans: Starter, Growth, Pro, and Scale, including tax and all usage. It does not apply to Enterprise.

These illustrative journeys describe general shopping decisions. They are not customer quotations, reconstructions of an individual conversation or reports of a particular client’s results. Merchant identities, logos, product identifiers, reporting windows and client metrics are not included.
The examples do not promise sales lift, a completed purchase or identical features for every deployment. Review the supported scope for your store and measure outcomes independently.
